First off many new to e cigs may ask "What the heck is a Cartomizer"?

The Cartomizer is an Atomizer (heating element) and Filter (porous material that holds e liquid) all in one piece that screws onto the e cig battery to create the vapor and flavor.

There are many different types of Cartomizers in this big family and many are filled differently some have a polyfill wadding, some have a wick and some are wickless.

The Cartomizer can come in a variety of ohms which can give the user a warmer or cooler throat hit.

The ohm you use would also depend on the voltage and mAh of your e cig. For instance you would not use a low resistance cartomizer on a 180mAh (mini e cig) battery. Also the lower the ohm rating the more power it will derive from your battery's life. Resulting in a shorter charge holding time.

Clearomizers - The Clearomizer is a clear plastic cartomizer usually with a few wicks inside, these can also come without a wick and just a simple tube running up the center. There are many types of clearomizers.

Drip-O-Mizers - A cartomizer with a built in or removable drip tip. These come in a variety of threading's and ohms. Easy peasy.

Giantomizers - Big Ceramic inside cartomizers, made of metal with a window for eliquid viewing. Some like them and some don't. They do hold a lot of liquid

Dual Coil Cartomizers - A cartomizer consisting of 2 separate coils each with a different ohm rating. These are wonderful for giving the user more flavor, vapor and a very satifying hit to the throat.

Smokeymizers - A Ceramic inside cartomizer, single ohm. Fill with syringe or bottle with needle. There are a few versions of the Smokeymizers and with varying ohm ratings

CE, CE2, CE3 & CE4 Cartomizers - Ceramic fillament and wicks inside rather than the polyfil wadding. A much cleaner and pure flavor. The majority of CE cartomizers must be filled using a syringe or bottle with a needle cap.

CE Dual Coil Cartomizers - These consist of 2 separate ohm coils and a Ceramic fillamint. There are wicks in these cartomizers rather than polyfil. The CE Cartomizers give the user much more pure, clean and true flavor and vapor.The dual or twin coils will give the user a much better throat hit as well than single coil cartomizers. We would rate these as the best vapor and flavor producing product.

CE cartomizers must be filled using a syringe or bottle with a needle.

DCT - Dual Coil Tanks - These are punched and flanged cartomizers encased in a plastic tube. The tube and cartomizer wadding are filled to capacity and fed into the punched cartomizers for hours and hours of freedom from refilling cartomizers. The DCT can come in a variety of size capacities from 3ml to 10ml. We recommend staying in the 3ml to 6ml sizes. Always be sure to fill the cartomizer inside the tank as well as outside of the tank, this will prime your cartomizer for a wonderful experience.

Horizontal Coil Cartomizers - The heating element is at the bottom and vapor is fed up through the center tube.

 Screw Tank  System - This is a 6ml tank system that uses wicks rather than wadding allowing the user

to experience much better and pure flavor as well as lots of vapor production. The atomizer coil heads with wicks can be easily replaced making this a very economical system. The atomizer coil heads can be replaced in a varying range of ohms from 1.5ohms to 3.0ohms so the user can vape at their favorite sweet spot. A definate must have. Easy to fill, simply unscrew metal top with drip tip and fill along side the center post, do not add e liquid down center

Soft Cap and Hard Cap Cartomizers - Some cartomizers come with a hard plastic end that is not removable and these must be refilled from the bottom where the threads are. Be sure to always wipe your connections clean and dry when refilled these and all cartomizers.

The soft cap cartomizers have a removable mouthpiece for refilling, simply remove the small round soft white cap and fill directly from your e liquid dropper bottle.  As with all cartomizers it is highly recommended to remove them from your e cigs battery when refilling.

Tank O Mizers/MAP Tanks - A plastic tube that will hold anywhere from 3ml to 10ml of e liquid with a cartomizer through the center with feeder hole or holes. Great for a full day of e liquid. These are available in single coil as well as dual coil. Most common sizes are 3ml and 6ml

Vivi Nova Tank System - Changeable atomizer heads and wicks with a variety of ohm resistance.  A very popular new system. Lots and lots of vapor and flavor. Great for eGo batteries as well as larger variable voltage models. A definate must have. so simple to fill by simply unscrewing top metal cap and then load your e juice down along the sides of the tube. Replace top and Enjoy!
